Nobody Ever Tells Me Anything

Doc was a teacher from 1967 to 2010. (Sigh)

1582 - elections
Listening to the pundits pun away last night, trying to make the election hugely significant, etc, we do get little clues about the truth. One is that the electorate isn't as upset as they say, as it kept almost all politicians in office. Heck, the House with a horrible reputation just got more awful than before. Most interesting was one curious sentence: The average change in the Senate in mid-term elections, over many years, is a loss of six seats. Well, the Dems lost seven seats. Meaning? This was just another average midterm. Nothing special, no particular surprise for the president. You have to listen carefully on election night.
