Nobody Ever Tells Me Anything

Doc was a teacher from 1967 to 2010. (Sigh)

It is that November/December weather time. Today we had wind, rain, warming temperatures. Tomorrow it is supposed to be torrential rain and near hurricane winds. When you see all the swaying trees out there, it does get you to thinking about power outages, branches falling, all that kind of stuff. It is just normal weather here in the PNW, though. The true oddity for today, though, was that it broke an all-time record for high temperatures for Seattle. The previous December high was 64 degrees in 1993. Today we high officially 66 degrees, though I saw it higher than that on my computer. This is on a day when the Pineapple Express is heading full strength for the west coast. California is digging in. And the northeast is going through a nor-easter that is dropping piles of snow on New York and north. Weather keeps on being the available topping for discussion everywhere. I guess that is good.
