"Space has no objective reality except as an order or arrangement of the objects we perceive in it, and time has no independent existence apart from the order of events by which we measure it."
After one of the dreariest couple of months in many years, constant clouds, endless rain and drizzle (barring a couple of days last week), we finally look for a propitious omen on this particular day. What wakens us? Blue sky and blaring sun through the windows. Lovely, lovely, right? NO! This is Groundhog Day, so the offensive sun at breakfast was here to announce that the GHog had seen his shadow and gone back in, thus giving us another six weeks of winter. Jeepers Creepers. Now it is noon-ish. Guess what? The clouds are back again, it is going to wet up. Another billion tons of snow will shut down the Pass, as has been the case over the last few days. Mother Nature has quite a sense of humor.
I think we will go down to SAM to see the Gates of Heaven. Make something nice-ish out of this weekend day. I am not going over to the Salt Mine; it is over-run with junior high age kids using the building for a speech tournament.
