Almost bought it

It was close. I actually fell asleep driving home across 520 today. I knew I was tired, but not THAT tired. I did not feel it coming on, but around Montlake I was suddenly awakened by a loud bang against the undercarriage of the car. I had drifted to the right and hit some junk, which flew up and woke me with a bang. It was pretty disturbing, believe me. And it woke me totally up.

So this could have been the day I bought it, in the most unplanned way. Leaving that way would undoubtedly have caused a big memorial service of type. Some people would have been saddened without a doubt, but there would have been some crocodile tears, too. This event would have made impossible my hope to set some rules and regulations about my death. Which I intend to do! I am glad it didn't happen, though, for the sake of anyone else in that area, even if it would have solved all the retirement problems and other worries for the future. And S would have had a nice comfy financial cushion!!
